SCHMITT
Our website will have picture of
parents: Theme "Happy Booster Club Parents" The site cost
$6.95/mo. The Booster Club is in need of
Credit Card. It was suggested that we
look into getting a Visa debit card which will take the money directly from the
checking account instead of credit.
Board agreed unanimously that a Visa debit card would be the best way to
go. Board needs to start to think about
the Banquet. Spirit contest Jefferson
has 500, Auburn 70 with approx 110 delivered today and approx 400 more ready to
give to Special Ed. to cut. Forms can be
found in the Thursday Prep section, Fridays you need to search the paper,
Saturdays it's found in the Home section.
Janice needs help getting cut out sections to the newspaper office. Randy volunteered his son to pick them up
from the office and bring them home and he will deliver them to the office.
Board in agreement with this decision.
Head sets for football - Kiwanis Club downtown will meet in approx 2
week, them we will know if they can help with a donation. Alpine Kiwanis fiscal year starts October 1st
and they are known to help out especially when a group helps them., two groups
help from Auburn, NHS and Key Club. The taste
of Auburn is coming up and they need to know if Boosters want to participate. Board agreed that booster can set up a table
and to sell T-Shirts, but this event should remain a fundraiser for the

be if board wanted that. Suggestion was
made to place a banner in the Library with academics standing. Board in agreement. Terry will look into banners for both. ISHA activity week is coming up and coaches’
day is October 21st. Would
like for the Booster Club to do something for the coaches that morning,
afternoon and evenings are bad because the coaches are busy with students. Next coaches meeting will be 9/29 and the

COACH VALENTINE
Golf team needs to replace golf bags.
They have 18 bags and the plan is to replace 6 bags per year. Asking Boosters for $1542.55 to replace 6
bags. The students have fundraisers to help with other expenses and
coach also seeks outside sponsors. Students do not pay sports fees but each
player has to purchase a golf pass $220.
A handout was presented as to how coach uses current funds.
II.

Presented a fundraiser idea to boosters - Market Day. She is looking for some one to take over this
position and she is willing to help get them started. Auburn currently brings
in about $100- $150 per month on this.

ADVOCACY JUDE
School board has decided that there will
not be 7 periods. They are going with a
3yr plan with math & science changes.
They will be using a 2 strike you’re out system with failed
classes. Then the students has to pay to
take the class in summer school. There
was discussion about the bus drivers but no agreement yet. Next high school
advocacy meeting Sept. 25th 7p.m. Board room on Madison.
9. CONCESSIONS VALSHERIA LANGLEY
We are in need of a new popcorn
popper. Valsheria will be in contact
with Jefferson and a decision will be made between the two schools. She will keep board informed about this issue
price will be 50/50. There is the need
to have a Co-Chair for concessions and if so keys made and we will have to
figure out how to get them stamped do not duplicate. there is an issue with the booster club drink
cards. People have been using it for
more than one purchase at a game and also using the card from last year. Maybe
for next year we will need to go with a different color card but for now we
should put the date on the card instead of initials.
10. ON
THE WATERFRONT/ GINA BOETTCHER
